Nokia LCD PIC18F2520
August 5th, 2011 by Fábio Souza | No comment | In Blog, Electronics, PICFrom a nokia 1100 damaged , but with functional LCD , It used a to make the display PIC18F2520 text and variables, as the temperature. Since the communication with the LCD is slow and series, It used the internal 8 MHz crystal to command the screen by PIC.
The screen seems and transparent has a low (10mA), same with brightness. With this, You can reuse functional screens of mobile phones that were cancelled.
The main are routines in this site, having been changed to the PIC above.

Meteorological Station (Arduino ATMEGA328)

This spaghetti of wires is only one Arduino (changed to 20 MHz) with a network card based on chip ENC28J60 (better than Wiz official), is so linked only to tests of UPTIME and reliability. So far has an uptime of about 2 months and, taking into account that my cat engraçou with temperature sensor…
The first version I made this station is based on the Arduino UNO with the official network adapter (The Wiz between 25 and 50 euros) – A huge waste of money, the second is based on the same in the arduino but this time with a much cheaper (between 14 the 30 euros) and witheurosoubt much more reliable
Now, I am trying to remove all of the potential problems that can happen to me – that being said the main source of problems is the own arduino… Result: use the ATMEGA328 for its ease of programming and information quantity, but on a plate made by me, thus reducing costs and making the project a lot more functional.

Arranged an alphanumeric LCD 20×4 characters, a damaged FAX , but luckily the LCD was OK and some samples were obtained from 1Wire temperature sensors. The aim would therefore show LCD temperature information.
